My son has been going to the Breakfast club and After School at Glor Na Nog since he started school in Aughamore. It is a fantastic facility which keeps getting better every year thanks to Lorraine. This year we put our son into the full Day Care at the end of the summer holidays 2024. The main hall had a badminton net, two football goals and a pool table. There was even a bit of no bake baking, which my 8yr old really enjoyed making and eating. There’s a separate room with loads of board games and art and craft materials, plus a PS4 if you’re a good boy or girl. For after school this year, there’s a separate supervised room for girls and boys who want to do their homework and other children can play away in the main hall or classroom. There’s always a hot snack for the after school kids and a great selection of breakfasts. My son was waiting on the Honey Loops to come in this week for this breakfast he told me. Glor Na Nog appeared in our lifes in 2022 when our daughter Matilde was due to start playschool that same year. We were living in Kiltimagh and could not find vacancies around town in any playschool. A friend from Aghamore mentioned Glor Na Nog and within minutes of a conversation with the manager, we secured a place for our daughter. Although she was born in Ireland, she is Portuguese, and her first language is Portuguese. We were faced with fear regarding her social interaction with other children as she was not used to speak in English. Over the last two years at Glor Na Nog, our daughter learned to understand and speak English fluently. She has developed extraordinary skills that complement her strong character. The staff at Glor Na Nog have, over the last two years, been exceptionally great with all children and their families. Any doubts, questions or concerns that would rise, the educators were ready to assist and solve the same. From management to the classroom leaders and educators, catering and all other staff, we are so grateful that we found your service, and even more grateful for the fact that Matilde got to experience a variety of activities, while making friends and memories with people that she will treasure for life. We cannot thank you enough.

As we approach the final few days of Caitlín attending the wonderful service of Glor na Nog I just wanted to drop a line to say thank you so much for taking such great care of our little girl, the staff especially the girls that minded caitlín in the toddler room in particular Chloe have really cared for caitlín with such love and really brought her out of her shell they have made caitlín more confident for her next journey into playschool. The biggest thing we noticed about caitlín since starting in the toddler room is that every time we collect caitlín her from the door she comes running out with smiles and is honestly in such great form for the rest of the day thanks to having such a fun day with her friends and the girls who take great care and attention in minding her. I could not recommend Glor na Nog enough, the service has always offered us great attention with our daughter's routine and milestones and offering loads of playtime for her adding to the wonderful experience in a great setting. Thank you so much to all the staff for a great first experience for our daughter out of the family home and it honestly has set her up with the confidence she needs when she has to spend time away from her family like a second home. We will miss you all.

My experience from the start with Glor Na nog has been wonderful. Lorraine and Regina are professional, welcoming, and responsive. Everything is kid's first period from proper nutrition to overall development. The premises are always clean. They took great care of my little girl. If I leave instructions regarding anything they listen and follow. They offer great information and instructions if you need anything. They are very quick to respond to you and they are great at communicating with you about your little one whether by text and through the app etc. I would highly recommend this childcare facility. I appreciate all the support and service. They have exceeded my expectations and thank you to the staff Louise, Dee, Caroline Paula, Rebecca, Aoife and to the rest that I might have forgotten their names just know you have put a smile on my face. Hi Lorraine and staff As Hannah gets ready to move up to the pre-school room I wanted to take a few minutes to thank you all from the bottom of my heart. When Hannah started with you at 18 months old I worried about how she would settle in- would she sleep or eat for you? Would there be too many other children for her to cope with (being an only child and having only ever been minded by a childminder before that)? Would she be minded properly? Well I can hand on heart say-, I need not have worried one bit. Every member of staff is a credit to the organisation. I have always felt reassured, informed and listened too. The settling in period was done amazingly well and getting all the daily updates and photos through the app is brilliant. Hannah has made wonderful little friends who will move up with her through the years and I am forever grateful to the staff in the toddler room who have helped foster her independence, nurtured her growth and do the best hair braids that I can never master. Thanks again for taking care of my most precious little girl when I cannot be there. I look forward to the many more years of Hannah attending Glór na nÓg.

I would just like to summarise my experience with Glor na nÓg has 100% positive. My daughter has speech difficulties but she couldn’t have been in a more supportive and inclusive environment. All staff and personnel have been part of that. She was happy to go in every single day and I think that tells you all you need to know as a parent. Communication to me has always been constant and clear. Thank you all for your hard work, for making my daughters playschool exoerience the best it could be ❤️

My experience with glor na nog has been great, 3 of my children have attended there over the last 7 years, and my last child has just started this year. It is in a good location right beside a national school. The afterschool is also a great addition to the community.

Glor na Nog has been part of our family for 9 years now, my children have loved going into all the different rooms throughout the past 9 years , all room leaders and staff have giving 100% time and dedication to my three children focusing on their needs all of the time. I have found dealing with management over the years very pleasant and any queries or questions I have had were always answered with confidentiality and promptness. I'm sad that this is our last year with Glor na Nog as my youngest goes to primary school, but I will always recommend this setting to any of my family or friends who have small children in the future. Remarkable personal staff with so much heart and selfless attitude. It was wonderful to see our daughter excited about going to daycare there. The teachers make a enormous effort to involve each child and develop them in a individual way. The management is truly committed to providing a safe, fun and loving environment and we couldn't be more grateful to glor na nog and the whole team.

Greeted every morning with open arms and a smiles from the staff. I felt very confident from day 1 in the care that was being provided. My little boy was nervous and upset leaving me (mam) and after his first week he was a hamper camping going in waving goodbye to me which reassured me he was well looked after and enjoying himself :)

My Children always look forward to going to Glor. They settled in quickly and like their teachers and the other children.

Our daughter has been attending Glor na nÓg since age 2 (and a bit!). She has loved every single moment of it. We are grateful to the management and staff for nurturing and caring for our daughter -- attending to the development of her social, emotional, play and learning skills with great attention and professionalism. We have used the Glor na Nog creche and playschool facility for a number of years now and of the 12 years we have used it, there's not one day that any of our 3 kids did not skip with excitement into the facility. All of the staff involved in the facility now and over the 12 years, have been nothing less than kind and caring and always wearing a big smile on their face. Many a day we called to collect to find the staff reading stories with the kids propped on their knee. Its more like home away from home ��

Our son Cillian started in Glor na Nog over the summer. The staff made the transition so easy for him and for us. We are very lucky to have such a wonderful service on our doorsteps and people we trust with our babies! Cillian really enjoys his time there.

Our daughter has been going to Glor na nog Afterschool for the last number of years. She absolutely loves it. The facility just gets better each year. The staff are so dedicated, kind and attentive to all the kids needs and levels. It's like home from home. I would highly recommend Glor na nog. The children are minded in a secure, modern , caring and well managed environment.

My daughter has been in Glor na NÓG over a year and has been very happy and very well cared for in that time. I have found all the staff, both those working in the office and those caring for the children, to be very conscientious, professional, caring and helpful. Anytime I have made any requests or asked for any help, for example in relation to fussy eating or toilet training, the staff have gone over and above to help and support with what I'm doing at home. The settling in period was very well managed as was the transition from toddler to preschool room and this meant my daughter did not experience any distress or anxiety. I find the communication from all the staff excellent and the service operates in a very organised, flexible and professional manner. I would highly recommend this childcare service to anyone.

Glór Na Nóg Creche, Playschool, Breakfast Club & Afterschool, what can I say... What a fantastic service for the community. My boys have attended Glór na Nóg since they were small, they are now at school and still love going to breakfast club and afterschool. The staff here are fantastic at what they do. The service they provide is second to none and i would be lost without it.

when I drop Liam off at breakfast club it's like dropping him off to his auntie's house, there's always a warm welcome from Anna at the door, and a nice hot pancake & juice awaits for breakfast and a game of cards after with the other breakfast club kids. Liam loves after school in the community center where there's a nice snack at 3pm and a game of football with the lads after or whatever he wants to spend his time at until collection time. The staff are dedicated and great fun and we really appreciate the fantastic facility

I can't say enough about Glór Na NÓg. My 3 children have used the service from daycare to preschool and now afterschool and breakfast club. It's a fantastic service and we are so happy to have it on our doorsteps. They are so well looked after and really enjoy all the activities they do as well as then brilliant staff.
