Lorraine Casey

Manager

Lorraine has been working with Glór Na NÓg since 2011 and is fully committed to her role as leader. She is responsible for overseeing all operations within the company. As Manager, Lorraine is responsible for the overall safety and well-being of the children in the facility. She, along with the help of a voluntary committee set the standards by creating all policies and procedures for the service and ensure the implementation of and adherence to these. Along with her Early Years Education qualifications, Lorraine also holds an Advanced Certificate in Inclusion in the Early Years as well as Advanced Business Management and Supervisory Management. She has completed First Aid Response Training as well as child protection training. Lorraine makes all decisions based on the safety, happiness and wellbeing of all the children within the service.

Regina Doyle

Administrator

Regina joined the team in August 2021 and has quickly become an integral part of the Glór Na NÓg team. Regina is a business studies graduate and looks after all the accounts for Glór Na NÓg. She is sometimes the first point of contact for new and existing parents and is always on hand to help with any queries and admin issues. Regina has been closely involved with the company for the last 8 years while as she was the treasurer on the voluntary management committee, so is well tuned in to the company's structure, finances and running.

Louise Gallagher

Lead Graduate Early Years Educator

Louise has been with Glór Na NÓg since 2016. She is an early year's graduate from NUI and has various additional qualifications on her resume. Louise has recently completed her Advanced Certificate on Inclusion in the Early Years, and as well as being a First Aid Responder and has also completed the Healthy Ireland Smart Start - Nutrition program on behalf of Glór Na NÓg. Louise has a natural caring personality and is focused on meeting the developmental and emotional needs of the children in her care and teaching them problem-solving skills and creative thinking skills, develop identity and belonging, responsibility, independence, confidence, and self-worth through doing things like looking after their own belongings and spending time away from home as well as getting ready for the transition to school.

Fiona Gallagher

Lead Graduate Early Years Educator

Fiona is an Early Years Graduate from DIT and has been part of our Glór Na NÓg team since 2018. Fiona is also a First Aid Responder and loves her role working with children. Her caring and gentle nature brings a wealth of opportunities to the children in her care. Before joining our team, Fiona spent many years working with early years children in a childcare service in Dublin. Fiona Provides a stimulating, safe, and developmentally appropriate educational environment where children have the opportunity to develop cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills. Fiona is passionate about helping children reach their full potential and creating a strong foundation for them to build upon in their future years.

Annemarie Meehan

Early Years Educator

Annemarie is our longest standing member of staff at Glór Na NÓg, and has been with is since the first year we opened our doors in 2008. She has a level 5 certificate in Early years Education and has up to date First aid response training. Anne Marie has a natural love of children and is a mother figure in the different rooms around the building. She treats the children as if they were her own. She has a very positive attitude, and she is very adaptable. She has experience working in all our rooms over the years and fits in equally well with all age groups.

Deirdre Bryne

Early Years Educator

Deirdre Joined our team in September 2022 when she took an AIM support role and has fitted in well. She now works as an Early Years Educator in our preschool room. She has years of experience working with Early Years Children at all levels and has a lot to offer the children in her care. Deirdre is patient and kind-natured and will always go above and beyond to meet the needs of the children she cares for. Deirdre supports the needs and development and well-being of any child who needs it. Deirdre scaffolds the needs of the children while promoting independence and play safely and appropriately.

Paula McBrine

Early Years Educator

Paula joined our team in September 2022 when she took on an AIM Support role. She is qualified in Early Years Education and has many years experience working with children. She supports the needs and the development and wellbeing of the child who needs it. She also make plans and works in line with the AIM programme and helps achieve the inclusion and integration of the child in the setting. Paula scaffolds the needs of the all children in the group while promoting independence and play in a safe and appropriate manner.

Caroline Lynskey

Early Years Educator

Caroline joined the Glór Na NÓg team in November 2022. Caroline is a familiar face within the service as she carried our her work experience while studying Early Years Education and Care a few years ago. She has since accumulated lots of experience working with children in the Early years sector and will be working with out toddlers here at Glór Na NÓg. Caroline works very well in the toddler room and her professionalism and caring attributes bring huge benefits and opportunities to the toddlers in her room.

Chloe Gallagher

Early Years Lead Educator

Chloe joined the team in April 2023 and is a level 5 Early years graduate. Chloe loves working with children. Chloe supports the needs and the development and well-being of any child who needs it. She is full of enthusiasm and has quickly settled into her role in our toddler room. Chloe is currently studying and continues to bring new ideas to her team in the toddler room.

Caoimhe Hagney

Early Years Educator

Caoimhe joined our team in 2023 on a student placement and we were lucky enough to keep her on as an early years educator after she qualified. Caoimhe has formed great relationships with the children in her care and has proven to a big asset to the company. Supervising and engaging children in age-appropriate activities. Assisting in recording information about children's development, behavior, and progress and communicating this to their parents are just some of Caoimhe's strengths.

Rebecca Fitzgerald

Early Years Educator

Rebecca joined our team in 2023 and works in our preschool room. She is qualified in Early Years Education and loves her role working with young children. Her role involves meeting the needs of the children in her care to ensure they fully participate in the daily routine. Rebecca scaffolds the needs of the children while promoting independence and play in a safe and appropriate manner.

Molly Conway

Early Years Educator

Molly is a new addition to our team in 2024 after completing her work placement with us. Her gentle nature and genuine love of children make her an ideal person to care for the children in our service. Molly is working with the preschool teams, and is more than capable of delivering learning opportunities as well as a high quality of childcare with all children in her care.

Trish Carolne Nyabasa

Early years educator

Trish joined our team in February 2024 and settled in quickly. She is passionate about delivering a high quality of childcare and learning opportunities to the children in her care. She has QQI level 6 childcare qualifications, and has also completed other worthwhile workshops over the years. Trish works as part of the toddler room team and loves the daily adventures of caring for young children.

Sarah Holmes

Early Years Educator

Sarah joined us in 2024 after moving from Cork. She has years of experience working with toddlers and brings a great motivation and enthusiasm to our toddler room each day. She holds a QQI level 6 in early years education and is also a first aid responder. Her caring patient nature makes her a big asset to the team.

Caroline Doherty

School aged childcare Co-ordinator

After joining Glor Na Nog in September 2022, Caroline is our After School Leader. She is full of enthusiasm and has quickly settled into her role. Caroline performs all core job duties at an extraordinary level and demonstrates consistent mastery in all aspects of duties and responsibilities. She accepts a high level of responsibility for her own performance and routinely demonstrates an exceptional commitment to service. Caroline also holds early Years qualifications and will often be seen working with the younger children in the main center in the mornings.

Angie Kastler

Afterschool Assistant

Angie joined our Afterschool team in September 2021 and is full of creative ideas to promote play opportunities for the school aged children in her care. Angie regularly turns up to her work shift with her guitar or flute to play tunes for the children. Angie also speaks several different languages which helps children with different nationalities integrate into the group. She is very flexible and dependable and brings a different Imagination and creativity to the group.

Una Sloan

Afterschool Assistant

Una has been part of our afterschool team since September 2021 and is the life and soul of the party. She loves the school aged children, and very enthusiastic about her role within the team. Una has years of experience before joining our team working with children from all different backgrounds through her foster carer career. Una, for years met the urgent and immediate needs of children who needed her by taking them into her home and caring for them for what ever length of time necessary. This role gave Una the ability to deal with different situations as well as showing her kind and reliable nature to everyone around her.

Anna Haran

Kitchen Manager

Anna has been with us since 2015 and makes sure that the kitchen is kept clean, tidy and that all appropriate measures are taken to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are maintained. Anna has years of experience working in the food industry and maintains very high standards in our busy kitchen. She is responsible for all the preparation of food as well as encouraging a well-balanced and healthy menu for the children in the service. Anna also looks after the School Aged breakfast club and often spoils them with freshly baked goods at breakfast time as well as providing lots of opportunity for play time.

Jacinta Dolan

Kitchen Assistant/Cook

Jacinta has been with Glór Na NÓg since 2019 and is a very important part of the team. She assists with all aspects of the food preparation and cooking in our busy kitchen. Jacinta has completed HACCP training and makes sure everything is spic and span and meets all the current health and hygiene and food safety regulations. Jacinta always goes above and beyond in all aspects of her work and is a joy to have on our team.
